Can’t foster? Why not join our team as a volunteer? We’re always in need of eager transporters to volunteer their time and vehicles to collect or drop off doggos in need. Not only will you be saving lives and supporting our fabulous foster carers, you’ll be getting your doggo fix for free.
Join us at our various fundraising events. From BBQ’s to community markets, help us spread the word. Not only are these fun events, they’re a vital part of raising crucial funds and advocating for responsible pet ownership and our amazing rescue dogs. By leaving a bequest to Starting Over Dog rescue / Australian Dog rescue and Welfare LTD, you will be supporting our ongoing efforts to improve the welfare of companion animals through rescue, rehabilitation and re-education.
There are two types of bequest you can make. It can be a specific amount, or a percentage of or the residue of your estate. These two options allow you to make provision for those you care about and also avoid the erosion of value over time.
We can suggest the following wording, depending on which sort of bequest you wish to give:
I bequeath to Starting Over Dog rescue / Australian Dog rescue and Welfare LTD Inc ABN 58154885882 , for its general purposes, free of all duties (insert specific item to be given) or the sum of (insert specific amount to be given). I declare that the receipt of its treasurer or other authorised officer of Starting Over Dog rescue / Australian Dog rescue and Welfare LTD shall be sufficient discharge to my executor.
I bequeath to Starting Over Dog rescue / Australian Dog rescue and Welfare LTD ABN 58154885882 for its general purposes, free of all duties, the whole (or insert percentage) of my estate. I declare that the receipt of its treasurer or other authorised officer of Starting Over Dog rescue / Australian Dog rescue and Welfare LTD shall be sufficient discharge to my executor.
