By surrendering the litter to Starting Over Dog Rescue we are making sure that this litter really is their last litter.
We can provide a safe haven and quality diet / healthcare for pregnant mother dogs where the puppies will be whelped and raised in loving homes under veterinary supervision. Mother dogs and pups will be vet checked, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped and at an appropriate age, will be desexed before being adopted out by us into their loving forever homes.
The mother dog will generally be returned to the household once she has weaned her pups and has been desexed herself – unless her family chooses to surrender her as well.
If your dog has an unplanned pregnancy or litter and would like help to desex the mum and rehome the babies, Please fill in the Last Litter Application to be put in contact with a member of our team.
